Message to the Guest

Welcome to my personal website! My name is Robin Hwang [ˈrɑːbɪn hwɑːŋ], and I am a first-generation undergraduate student at the University of Michigan, pursuing a degree in Computer Science. My passion lies in the practical applications of technology, particularly its influence on business, entrepreneurship, and science. I also enjoy project management, where I can lead teams and guide projects to successful completion.

I was born in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens and spent just under a decade in New York City before moving out east to Long Island, and ultimately to Ann Arbor for university.

My areas of interest span across artificial intelligence, DevOps, product management, and high-performance computing. I also have a passion for event management and have organized conferences for audiences of thousands of attendees.

Outside of my professional interests, I enjoy writing song lyrics, exploring diverse cuisines, and playing video games. Recently, I’ve been diving into singing and audio editing as a new hobby, alongside creating YouTube videos.

Thank you for visiting my portfolio! I hope your journey through my site is enjoyable. If you’d like to connect, feel free to email me or reach out on LinkedIn— I love meeting new people!

ESFJ-T: Turbulent Consul

Turbulent Consuls (ESFJ-T) are a variation of the ESFJ personality type, combining the core traits of Consuls—warm, supportive, and socially connected—with the self-critical and perfectionist tendencies of the Turbulent identity. They are highly empathetic and thrive on helping others but can be deeply concerned about how they are perceived. This self-doubt drives them to work hard to meet the needs of their community and maintain harmony, but it may also make them more sensitive to criticism and prone to stress. Turbulent Consuls often strive for personal and professional growth, seeking validation and reassurance from others while maintaining their strong focus on fostering positive relationships and upholding traditions.
